"It is health that is real wealth and not pieces of gold and silver." - Mahatma Gandhi

Good health is crucial to one’s ability to work and be economically productive. Not only does poor health reduce one’s ability to work, the medical expense drives many families to destitution, wiping out hard-earned savings and entrenching them in the vicious cycle of poverty. Often, this is caused by the lack of access to healthcare facilities, the lack of facilities itself, ignorance or

poor nutrition. It is unfortunate when some of these ‘debilitating ailments’ are in fact easily treatable and affordable.

That is why GC works towards bringing basic healthcare facilities and supplies closer to local communities, providing the means for local communities to access them, teaching them about healthcare best practices, and working with them to address and introduce organic solutions to nutritional deficiencies.
